Submit a Tip
Are you a Mac expert? Get paid up to $40 to write a tip!
Use the form below to submit tips. If your tip is published on the site, you'll receive $20. If it hits the front page of Digg, you'll receive another $20 on top of that. Payment will be made by PayPal, so include your PayPal address, unless you don't want to be paid.
Note that not all tips will be published. Although there are no strict criteria, here are a few guidelines that should help ensure your tip is published:
- Try and make it more than 100 words.
- Don't submit tips that have already been written. Look in the Archive and search using Technorati tool in the sidebar to check.
- Don't write tips about obscure applications that most people won't have. Wherever possible, try to stick to free applications.
- Read through the tips in the Archive to get an idea of what type of tips people like.
- Write in good English.
- Don't plagiarize. If your tip is copied word for word from another source, it won't be published.
By submitting your tip you agree to grant Mac OS X Tips the right to use it for any purpose. This basically includes modifying it, adapting it and publishing it on this site. Wherever possible you will be credited as the author, but this is not guaranteed. If you do not want to grant these rights to Mac OS X Tips, please do not submit your tip.
In addition, by submitting your tip you acknowledge that it is your own original work and that you have the right to make it available on this site.
